How to request deletion
Email us from the address associated with your account and we will delete your account and associated personal data. Use the button below to open a pre-filled request, or write to hello@envizzio.com with the subject "Account and data deletion request".
So we can verify the request, please send it from the email address linked to your account. If you cannot, include enough detail for us to confirm your identity.
Delete some data without closing your account
You don't have to delete your whole account to remove data. You can ask us to delete specific information — for example your saved runs and activity history — while keeping your account active. Use the button below to open a pre-filled request, or write to hello@envizzio.com with the subject "Data deletion request (keep account)" and tell us which data you want removed.
What gets deleted
When your request is completed, we delete the personal data associated with your account, including:
- Your account profile and contact information, such as your name and email address.
- Your saved runs and activity history, including routes, distance, duration, pace, and timestamps.
- App preferences and settings tied to your account.
- Any waitlist or marketing records linked to your email address.
What may be retained
We may retain a limited amount of information where we are required or permitted to by law, for example to meet legal, accounting, tax, security, or fraud-prevention obligations, or to resolve disputes. Any retained data is kept only for as long as necessary and is then deleted. We may also keep aggregated or anonymized data that can no longer be used to identify you.
If you previously connected a third-party service such as Strava and uploaded runs there, that data lives in your account with that service. Deleting your Shoerism account does not remove it from the third party — you will need to manage or delete it directly with that service.
How long it takes
We aim to confirm and complete deletion requests within 30 days of receiving and verifying them. Backups are removed on a rolling basis shortly afterward. We will email you to confirm once the deletion is complete.
